Booth Library was fortunate to collaborate with WVU's West Virginia & Regional History Center in the preservation of the Sydenstricker Bible, one of the many artifacts part of Booth Library's Pearl S. Buck Collection.
Pearl Buck's father, Absalom Sydenstricker was a Presbyterian Missionary and scholar. He created his own translation of the Bible. This digitized copy is thought to have belonged to Sydenstricker. Click the image above for information about and access to the Sydenstricker Bible.
