Booth Library’s Special Collections & Archives (SCA) supports the goals of D&E by organizing, preserving and providing access to primary research materials of enduring value in support of the academic mission of the College, the educational and research needs of Davis & Elkins College curriculum, and the research community at large.

The print archival collections include:

• Papers and photographs from founding families Davis & Elkins.
• D&E College materials and publications such as yearbooks, newspapers and catalogs, some dating back to the college’s founding.
• Faculty publications.
• Jim and Ola Comstock Collection which includes the Pearl S. Buck Collection.
• Selective collection of books on the history of Elkins, Randolph County (W.V.), and West Virginia.
