Poetry is published 3 ways:
Single author book. Search the library catalog for a specific author.
(e.g. Dickinson, Emily)
An anthology. An anthology is a book of selected writings by various authors and it has a unifying theme. (e.g. a particular literary form, or subject.) To locate anthologies search the library catalog with the phrase: Poetry Anthology and combine with a second keyword to refine the search results, for example: Poetry Anthology AND 20th Century
In magazine or journals, for example, from the Booth Library Collection there are the journals: West Virginia History or Poets & Writers Magazine
Awarded annually by Berea College and the Appalachian Studies Association to honor books (fiction, nonfiction, and poetry) that “best illuminate the challenges, personalities, and unique qualities of the Appalachian South.”
