ArtStor: Access ArtStor

Is a repository of hundreds of thousands of digital images and related data, founded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as a non-profit initiative.

Intro

Using ArtStor is a two-step process:

1) Access the database through the Library's main website. See illustrations to the right >>

2) Then access the digital collections by clicking the correct link within Artstor. For instructions click the tab above labeled: Access ArtStor's Digital Library.

 

 

Accessing ArtStor in 3 steps

(1) To access the Library’s research databases, start from the main library website & select Databases A-Z.

NOTE - Please read this!

If you are off-campus and click on ArtStor, you will first be prompted to enter your login credentials (see details below). If you have not yet established a (free) Artstor account, you will be prompted to do so. Be sure to use your D&E email when establishing an account.

Accessing from off-campus

To access a library database from off-campus, 
start at Welcome To Booth and then follow the steps below…

Step 3: Enter your D&E username and password.
Username: Up to the @ sign of your D&E email (e.g. library@dewv.edu)
Password is your Sakai password

 

 

If you click one of the Library's electronic resources and see the D&E logo prompting you to login:

 


 

Your username = everything up to the @ of your D&E email (e.g. library@dewv.edu)
Your password = Your Sakai password.

 

If instead you see a logo labeled ACA:

Your username is your full name, first name then last name (e.g. Booth Library)
Your password is your six digit college ID number.

Your College ID is your Library Card. To access your library account your username is your full name and your password is your college ID number.

To review what you have checked out or renew your library materials online, start here at  Welcome To Booth and follow the steps below:

Step 3: To Access Your Library Account,

Your username is your name, as you would type it, first name then last name
Your password is your College ID number.

FYI:  If the system does not allow you to renew your material, the renewal limit has been reached, return the materials or contact library@dewv.edu to request an extension.
